I know how it feels when your stomach turns at the thought of starting another diet. I tried every diet under the sun, including some of the big named diets (such as the one named after a beach and another after a certain doctor’s name).
However, 2009 was going to be different for me. I was turning 50 at the end of the year, and I made a promise to myself that I would be “fit at fifty.” One thing for sure, I was not going to try another fad diet, crazy weight loss scheme or hollywierd star eating program.
Before I started my search, I had two requirements: First, I wanted a program where I never felt like I was “starving.” Second, I wanted to eat regular food, not some pre-packaged “diet food” that you have to convince yourself that it actually tastes good (when you know darn well your senses are saying this stuff tastes like cardboard!)
After many days of research, and actually trying a couple of different programs, I found this program, which easily fulfilled my requirements. I was able to eat “guilt free” and eat regular food, even fast food or dining out. And best of all, it made perfect sense!
After starting the program, the pounds just started falling off. The only exercise I did was to continue my regular physical activities, which was walking and the occasional round of golf.
